MGA Ireland members need to become temporary members of MGAGB for the NI and Scotland competitions; MGANI and MGA Scotland members need to become temporary members of MGA Ireland for the Irish competition (£5 and €5 respectively for the weekend). This is to ensure you are insured at the events.  Non-members are welcome to compete and pay temporary membership fees as a “come and try it event”.

Teams must contain at least 2 of the 5 original riders in each subsequent competition leg. Teams may be 4 or 5 riders.

League Scores. If up to 10 teams in an age group then scores will be from 10 down, if 10 – 20 teams within an age group then scores will be from 20 down.  Dropping 1 point for each place, non-CL team placings will be ignored in league point rankings. All 3 events contribute league points.

Entry fees: Scotland and Northern Ireland £250 per team of 5 with £50 to go to the pooled prize fund pot (£200 per team of 4 with £50 to prize pot).  Entry fees: Ireland €300 per team of 5 with €60 to go to the pooled prize fund pot (€240 per team of 4 with €60 to the prize pot).  Prizes to be put towards rugs etc and decent rosettes / sashes at the discretion of the organisers depending on entry levels.

Entries and fees are via Itsplainsailing to the respective organising region and will close strictly 1 week before the event.

Competition rules will be as per IMGA 2022 rule book.  IMGA Alcohol breathalyser policy will be adopted for U18s and Opens.  Breathalyser for U12 and U15 will only be where there is suspicion of consumption and will be at the discretion of the Chief Referee.

Appropriate social activities will be run at each event!
